In the performance “Joakinator: Oniric Body,” the artist explores the integration of the dream world into the performer’s body, transforming it into a meeting point between consciousness and the body. The interactive device uses muscle sensors, pressure sensors and accelerometers to power an A.I. system that translates the performer’s movements into a control system. The audios are texts read from dream journals and sessions of psychoanalysis by the performer.
